Being new to owning a TH55 I have a couple of questions.

1. Is there any way to speed up Hotsync with Bluetooth as it takes about 10 mins to complete ? (All I'm doing is backing up data to the PC, it seems to take ages synchronizing Clie Organizer Applications)

2. If the battery completely dies to I loose all data on the PDA ?

Any advice will be greatfully received.

There is no way to speed up Hotsync with BT. USB would be faster. BT is a radio, usb is a direct link.

Your Hotsyscs will speed up with time, as the handheld will not have as much data to transfer to the desktop (or notebook) computer.

The TH55 does NOT have persistent memory. Anything in RAM will be lost when the battery dies completely. The good news is that I've NEVER had this happen to me in almost a year of owning the TH55. What hard resets I've encountered were NOT due to battery drain.
