I have the latest version of pocket tunes, and it has support for services like napster2go, yahoo unlimited and rhapsody. (to download songs to your mp3 player for a per month fee) However, their website says they do not support clies, and on a forum i was reading, a pocket tunes support person said they have no plans to offer it in the future because of a hardware issue with the clie. My question is...... Is there a patch that could be written on the clie side that would make clies compatable with these services? I know there are some guys in here that are geniuses as far as writing those things, and i think it would be a cool feature for all forgotten clie owners.

Thanks!

yes, it plays the music fine, but not "rented" music from online stores. From the pocket tunes forum on yahoo:

That's correct. You can transfer and play unprotected MP3/WMA files to your
CLIE, but you can't play music from online music stores. This is due to a
hardware limitation on the CLIE. Unfortunately, we don't have plans to make
this work because it's a LOT of work, and Sony has discontinued their line
of Palm devices.

I can confirm the protected files won't play...but if you burn them to a CD then rip them back to your HD, they will play fine. :-)

There are many ways around DRM, but you have to do the leg-work!
