I've just upgraded to a T5 from TT, and somehow I've overridden the preinstalled version of World Clock with an older version.
Aside from conducting a hard reset and reinstalling all files back onto the palm, does anyone know how I can get the preinstalled version of World Clock back?
Or alternatively does anyone know where you can download the latest version of palm World Clock?

Try this.
1. Load a file manager like FileZ (freeware) onto your T5.
2. Use the file manager to find the relevant files - likely they are called Clock-PcLK.prc and Clock-PcLK_enUS.prc - YMMV.
3. Once you have found the right files, edit the 'Creator' attribute to read XXXX (ie, any four digits other than the actual one).
4. Soft reset.
5. The default app should not work again. Using the default launcher, delete the relevant TT files.
Warning. It's important to back-up your T5 before trying this, in case you suffer a hard reset.

Why not do a warm reset, delete the older version with FileZ, then do a soft reset?

Thanks for the advice Simony & Telyx.
I've know about a soft and hard reset, but a warm reset!!!!
Can you please let me know what this is and how you do it.
Thanks

As an update, I got palm support to tell me what the offending old version files where causing the problem (locLCusLocationDB & locLDefLocationDB) and then tried to remove via the FileZ suggestion above. Unfortunatly this killed my palm (continual faital errors) so I had to conduct a hard reset. Before restoring my palm I simply killed these two offending files from the back up and now World Clock is working again.
Reason I was reluctant to do the Hard Reset was because of the other complications this caused (refer my Docs-to-Go Crashes with Mac comment), but after a weekend of frustration I am all working again, albeit after having to purchase Missing Sync.
Thanks again to Simony and Telyx for your suggestions.
