On the Mac, to look at an Address, 2 clicks: click on an Address entry, then click on the Handheld Note: Address Book. In my Address database (nearly 1000 entries), I have lots of Note entries. The Mac version of Palm Desktop seems to separate these Notes and put them into the Memos database. So, now I have more than 1000 entries in my Memos!
In comparison, on the PC, to look at an Address entry, all I have to do is a single click and I see BOTH the address info and the Note.
In experimenting with NOW Contact & Up-to-date, my Address info got corrupted: all of my Handheld Note:Address Book entries in Memos got UNLINKED from the Address entries!!! So, now I have LOTS of Memos --- "orphaned", ie I don't know to what Address entry they belong to.
Is there a better alternative to the Mac Palm Desktop??
