They've dropped out of the digital audio market, so there are now no good WMA players. Not that I care about that format, but Rio was definitely the second best manufacture of digtital audio devices IMO.
If anything, there should be some great deals for the peeps that can't get enought OGG.

My friend has a 256 meg older version. I like it, but wouldn't replace my iPod with it. :) I can't play WMA, but that's a "bonus." :D

I wonder why no one here uses his Palm OS handheld as media players. So many power users here, and they all lurk two or three devices, one of which is unneeded.
My SX1 can play Music, and so can my T3. I damnit dont need an ipod....

Maybe if Palm teamed up with Apple, and they started shipping their PDAs with 15+ Gigabyte drives, then they would be more viable for music playback. :) But lack of storage is definitely a big factor. The iPod has that covered along wtih ease of use and overall quality. They're built quite well, and more importantly provide a much nicer sound than any PDA can offer. I had bought a Clié to be my audio player/PDA, and later even tried it with a Pocket PC and neither comes even close to an iPod, and sounded awful in comparison.
iPod does what it was designed for and does it quite well. When I get my Treo, I'm going to dump a few songs on it for tinkering purposes, but it will never replace my iPod, it's just not good enough.
I use my iPod all day everyday, and until it dies, I will only replace it with another iPod. :)
