hi all just wanted to share an xperence i had with sony support

the remote for my nx got messed up, (sound only from one side)most likly from bouncing around in my bag. i thought i was pretty much screwed and was going to post to see if anyone would sell me one, on the off chance i called sony monday late, and they ask me to fax my invoice as proof of purchase, i did this at work the next day and i recived my remote wed! the shipped overnight from kentucky to me in nyc

i'm in no way saying sony itself is great, with all the shady practices ie: cf slot support but, i've always had good dealing with the support people, and i've made a good number of calls to them with 3 clie's and 2 vaio's

one of thier people even changed the status on my refurbished vaio so i would have a full year of support as aposed to 90 days and they answered my questions about the motherboard on my other vaio when i wanted to upgrade the processor even though it was out of the tech support peroid, something i couldn't get compaq to do even when my desktop was still covered
