'Broken' Dashboard Translater....

OK, I've repaired permissions and all that stuff, I try to do it when I remember, as a matter of fact, let me do it now :)...........OK, to the topic.

MY tanslater doesnt work properly. I cannot type stuff into it and translate AT ALL. In the bottom language selection menu, I click it, and it says English. Then, when I click English, it goes back to the 'default', the way it was before clicking English. Now the top menu works ok, I can also use the little arrows on the left middle to switch the languages back and forth. I dont know what to do; its beens some time since it started, but I left it to see if it would magically get fixed, but I guess not :(

I have looked for other translation widgets on Apple's widgets page, but nothing. Didnt try Google though...And yes, just this widget. Heres a pic when I repair permissions, this message has come up a couple of times. I dont know if it means anythying or not...

WHAT THE HECK!!! I downlaoded and STILL it doesnt work! It has to be a software problem, doenst it?!?! I just thought of something, its doubtful, but may work, let me play around w/ the International Prefs Pane...

Make sure you deleted the old Widget from the Widget folder, and installed the new one over it.

/Library/Widgets is the folder.

Replaced and Moved to Trash then replaced! This has to be something to do with my computer??? :(

Guess you will just have to use the Translater app.

It acts like its opening, and I see the dock move like something is going in it then it immediately dissapears. Its not in Force Quit either, I thought maybe it'd be running in the background...

Search Language Translater in Spotlight. Open the XCode project file. Build it, then try that.

Download XCode, and it should come with some projects. Get XCode from the developer part of Apple.com. It is free to sign-up. It should have the Translator app and frameworks
