msx-1gs (sony 1gb) not recognized by th55

hello

I've got a problem - my th55 (/u) does not recognize MS Pro (msx-1gs) sony card. there is no problem with mxs-256 or 32mb cards (lexar, sandisk). slot beeps when inserting card, then - nothing. not recognized by resco explorer, audio player, card info nor data import.

card is recognized with no problems by DSC-P200 sony camera and Lexar SD/MS card reader.

can anyone help?

i think you need to get the driver for it...

what kind of driver? where from?
on sony's "compatibility chart" this card is marked as "compatible" with th55

My MSX-1GS worked straight 'out of the box', already formatted, with my /E1. Have you tried formatting it in your camera?

btw: card is seen by "card info", but then I see - "this card cannot be formatted" or "this card cannot be renamed" (trying to format or rename it)

yes, I have formatted this card in camera couple of times. problem still not resolved :(
