There are three cool apps that seem to have gone quiet lately on the Palm front:
+ Transport Tycoon Deluxe
+ ScummVM
+ Little John Palm (aka. LJP)
Does anyone know what the scoop on them is??

TTD is freeware and already out. It's only for zod handhelds though and PPC. No word on when/if it'll be released for pOS standard
ScummVM I'm somewhat certain is out for Palm std, and more certain alr out for for zods
LJP IIRC is going through slow but steady upgrades. Ironically enough, i recall reading on tapland that it's better for zod users to go with that than LJZ

Update - 28/8/2005
No new news on ScummVM; Has anyone seen Chrilith?!
Transport Tycoon Deluxe:
NOW UPDATED FOR *ALL* PALMOS PDA's!!!!
Now, the bad thing is that it has NO music support because almost no Palms have MIDI support, so Zodiac users might want to stick to older versions until they re-implement it.
But now all non-Zodiac users can see why I was so excited about this game (i.e. it totally rocks ;))
Little John Palm:
NOW AT version 1.0RC2! As before, should work on all PalmOS devices, and also most of the stuff from LJZ should have been ported now.
I haven't tried this yet, but it should rock because the Zodiac DRM bypass hacks are supposedly in (Hardware acceleration! Woo!), and it should also be a lot more stable than the v0.9 series on all PalmOS PDAs.
I'm gonna start porting my LJZ settings etc. to LJP to see how it goes...

I was under the impression that TTD for nonZods still wasn't available yet. Else, it'd be announced with a solid DL link.

The newest zodttd released technically supports Palms other than the Zodiac but has not been tested. If anyone with a ARM based Palm such as the T3/T5 can test it, let me know.
That explains it... It "should" be working with arm based palm devices...
I have a T3 and tried to run the zodiac version you have for download but
it gave me a fatal error - oscompat.c, Line:157, Out of memory.
"should" have worked :P

Eeep! Sorry, I just read the stuff about a PalmTTD in the eSoft forums but didn't actually check (Didn't want to loose the MIDI music! ;))
Progress seems to have slowed down on those things anyway; I haven't seen much info on what the eSoft guys are doing, ScummVM has gone quiet and the latest official version crashes my Zod, and LJP is back in to its silent mode too ;))

PS games on zodiac. that's quite a feat. With high unlikely hood of ever getting something playable, it ain't practical, but still worth mentioning noneoftheless

Wow! ZodSCUMM is superb!
It runs a LOT faster than ScummVM; I can even Play Sam'n'Max at full frame-rate!
Unlike ScummVM 'tho there is NO way to access the Graffiti area, so you can't name your saves :(
