Low Res 'Wait Page' with ZLauncher 2.21

Guys,

I've been a user of LauncherX for a while now, but just decided to give ZLauncher a try today. Everything has been great so far, what with the wallpaper support and all, but there is something I just hate.. it's the 'please wait' screen that appears when I quit an app and go home to the launcher.

The screen is in low-res!! The PALM logo and the words 'PLEASE WAIT' come out looking so ugly..

Does any other NX user face this problem? Is there a workaround to this? I'd appreciate all the help I can get on this..

I have noticed the same thing on my NX. I hope ZZTechs will update this soon. Since they have been releasing updates every week, I'm sure they will update it soon enough.

It doesn't bother me, I thought it was kind of neat. Switching to TT fonts seems to have improved things a little in the text. If it were Hi-Res, I feel it would slow things down even more. Personally I don't consider it a problem but, that's me :) I suppose it could be made optional, some other apps can do that.

kmrdeva, just check your preferences and disable "autosync /palm/launcher/"; doing so will speed up things a lot; since i unchecked this option, i did not see the "please wait" screen again. and i'm using the good old slow nr70 ;-)

Well guys, guess what.. The low res 'Pls wait' screen was part of the stupid theme I was using.

I emailed the ZZtech people yesterday, and they responded within 15 minutes!!

They suggested that I either :

1. disable the auto sync of /palm/launcher.
2. Change to another theme - eg. CopperDeckII.

Well, I'm using CopperDeckII now and it rocks!!

I'll be buying both CopperDeckII and ZLauncher by the end of January.. I'm really impressed with them..

Cool! I have been using the default theme all along. CopperDeck II is a great theme and now I can see a great looking 'Please Wait' screen.

I agree, the CopperDeckII is awsome!

Now it says Loading, please wait in CDII HiRes motif!

copperdeck II is nice; i prefer not seeing the "please wait" at all. sorry for the skinmakers effort. shame on me ;-)

Well, turn it off then, uncheck autosync and your in business;)
