Tungsten E2 not turning on

Anybody have this problem? I used my Tungsten E2 on Saturday, and it worked fine, battery was almost fully charged. On Sunday, it wouldn't turn on. I thought the battery had died somehow - maybe the button had been pushed in overnight by accident. So I charged it. The interesting thing is that it works fine when plugged in, but still won't turn on when not plugged in.

I'm just past my 90 day warrenty, so it's going to cost me big bucks to send it to Palm to get it fixed. Any ideas are welcome!

I've seen other postings with battery issues, and as I can't turn it on, letting the battery die (which seems a common solution) is not an option.
