Yeah... Sony's price for fake leather. (I have to admit... that while I thought about purchasing Sony's product I couldn't see parting with $40 for fake leather.)

Maybe we should start lobbying with the other case vendors to get one for the TG series. I would like to see one similar to the Ivolution from Vaja.

I would like to see an innopocket hardcase that flips upwards, one that protects the back of the screen and replaces sony's flip cover as well

I emailed a couple of the case manufacturers, asking if they were developing a case for the TG50, but haven't heard back from any of them.

Eh, give em a break.
What I really hope for is a tough case that won't put too much pressure on the flip cover or the keyboard (if the cover has to be taken off).

I have bought a "leather" case for TG50 by third-party manufacturer in Hong Kong. It's only 40% of the price of the Sony leather case.

Could you post a picture and the source of the case, please?

Do these side entrance cases come with a belt clip? Or are they too bulky for hip mounting? I can't tell from the pictures.

I need to see it in real life. How the heck do you put it in the cradle with the case on?

Is the front of the Sony "leather" case stiff enough to protect the TG50's screen if the hard flip cover is removed? I'm sure it must be annoying to have to open two cases to see the screen!
Oh, and how many memory sticks can the case hold?

When you open the flap, the clie sticks on the back via the tabs, similar to the leather flip. The tabs are actually stuck on another lip of leather so that you can seperate the clie from the case to slid it in the cradle. In other words, the clie is stuck to a 1 inch flap which is stuck to the case.
