hello,

i have buy a arkon car holder
Powered PDA Mount (http://www.arkon.com/bluetoothgps.html#cm799) (FOR iMate Jam, HTC Magician / MDA Compact / xda II mini / JAM, Blackberry 6*** - 72** Series, Tungsten E)

and

brando charger kit Package 2 (http://shop.brando.com.hk/ipdaux50syncchargercradlekit.php)

this compination work very fine in my car:
the holder from arkon have inbuild speakers and you must modificate the brando charger (remove cover lower surface) and you can charge your ux in your car.

I'm a little confused on how the cradle is powering the unit? Is it just a modified jc40 or is it the actual insides of the Brando charging case without the case?
Well anyways I like it.

If you're using a Bluetooth Nav system ( I'm guessing because of the BT light ) then what are you using the headphone jack for I know those aren't necessarily related items, it just sounded that way.

yes i have a bluetooth gps and i can also load it with this mounting plate, because there are two usb plugs (my gps needs 5V to load)

the arkon holder have speaker and you connect it with the headphone jack and its much more louder than the inbuildspeaker in the ux

I guess since the holder is kind of expensive, I will use USP iPod car charger ($7.99) and brando charger kit 2 ($23+shipping).

you hit it right on the spot..I did have an 88 GT 5.0 hence the user name..but I cant keep changing user names all the time I'll forget them...the only other one I have is KEVIN97A4 which I use on audiworld.com (used to have a 97 audi a4) but i'm not creating any more usernames :)
