I've owned Palms for six years (OMG!) and have never figured this out. A Handspring rep once told me that the settings were literally non-functional - "your Visor will figure it all out for you" - at least for those of us not syncing via modem.
I notice that my SJ30 has the connection speeds all set to 56K instead of 115K, even for USB. So does anybody know? Do these settings actually do anything?
