Tungsten E2 Fatal Error Message

Has anyone ever seen this message:
SystemMgr.c, Line:4038,
Error Launching Application

I have been trying to hotsync my Palm and get this message. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm seeing exactly the same error. It wenat away for a while after a hard reset. Now it'd back.

Is there a way to reinstall SystemMgr?

Found in another Palm Forum:

"Apparently, there are several older Palm files (especially from the Tungsten E) that cause problems when transferred to the E2. Some of them are:
Bgnd Service
NetFrontLib
SMS (there are several files)
Web (2 files I think)
VersaMail (also VM Prefs)

These need to be deleted from the device. To do this, you may need to do a warm reset (hold the up-scroll down while you reset) and/or use a utility like FileZ to see the files. "

Thank you very much for your advice.

I couldn't work out how to install FileZ without doing a HotSync, but I did do a warm reset and this seemed to do the trick on my Tugsten T5, which was also reporting the 4038 error whenever I tried to HotSync it.
