Can somebody give me a step by step process on how to hotsync my sj30 to my PC?

let's start from the beginning.

what have you already done? what happens when you try it?

did you plug it in without installing the driver?

did you read that little thing called a quick start guide?

I've installed the Palm Desktop Icon. I think I'm connected correctly to the computer. When I click the hotsync on my palm and press local and cradle/cable and then log it says NEVER SYNCHRONIZED.

what does your PC do? (PS what version of windows?)

see if you have a tray icon for a hotsync. If you do, click on it and be sure you have the correct cable connection checked...local USB, local serial cable.

If you are using XP or Win 2000 make sure that you are hot syncing from the same user name that you installed the clie desktop with.

HAHAHA I just spent hours working on my palm treo 300 and search the web and Every damn thing well this is why it says never synchronized, BUT CUZ YOUR HITTING THE wrong button, dip **** :) Dont hit log, hit the little hotsynce button in the center of the screen, hope that solves the problem, it solved mine ;) peace
