need help, i just clean-up my ux by deleting files under the ram, then i hard-reset to get back all the original files.

my problem now is i cannot create wireless lan connection for hot sync
you know under the hot sync there a connection setup where you can create either "connect to" Pc,modem, phone, local network and under "via" option bluetooth, cradle/cable, infrared. i remember there is another option for wireless lan but i think it did not restore after i hard reset.

anyone can help me on this?

Go to Hotsync. Select Modem. Go to Menu > Modem Sync Prefs... Select Network then OK. Select Select Service. Select the arrow next to service and select Wireless LAN. Click Done. Then select Menu > LANSync Prefs... Select LANSync. Then OK. Next Select Menu > Primary PC Setup. Go your PC and right click the Hotsync icon in the bottom right of your screen next to the time. Select Network. Then right-click Hotsync and select Setup. You should see a box popup with a tap for Network. Select the Network tab and select your hotsync name to be apart of the Network Hotsync. Click the button that says TCP/IP Settings.... You will see information concerning your Primary PC Name, Priamry PC Address, ans Subnet Mask. You can leave the subnet mask blank. Copy the information about your Primary PC Address and your PC Name (If you include the Primary PC Name and the Network Hotsync doesn't work, remove this and try again).

You need to sync via usb cable, use !! for your primary PC name, don't use the real one. After this first sync you can switch back to synching via WiFi.
Please let us know how this goes.

Do you have a manual, perfect like this for Mac-users, because I didn't get the "right-klick"-Setup on Hotsync and tried for several frustrating days to make it work, but it never did.

Okay guys....can't get the Network HotSync to work. I'm using the Missing Sync, but after exchanging many emails with them they told me to call Apple. Apple wasn't much help either even though they will talk to me because I have Applecare. I've tried everything I'm supposed to do, but nothing works, and now I'm getting a new problem: whenever I hit the HotSync button under "Modem" it tries to connect via Bluetooth, even when I have BT turned off and even when I am already connected via Wifi! I did not have this particular problem before I had to do a hard reset.

I have no trouble using the Wifi to connect to my computer to go out on the Internet.

Has anyone ever got Network Hotsync to work on a Mac with Missing Sync and using an Airport Extreme base station?

TIA
