i would like to rip dvd videos off my dvd disk, but the only program that i know that can do this is pocketdvd studio. its great but is there a better program because the quality of the pictures aren't that great when viewed on my handheld? do you know any simlialr programs to pocketdvd studio that can rip dvds higher and the resolution is 480x320 or higher so when i convert it using IC2, the video will look better.

DVD2AVI is a great little freeware DVD ripper. Then you can use whatever program you want to convert it to whatever resolution, file size, etc etc.

You can also check out palmfocus's how-to on converting DVDs to palm. Here is the link (http://www.palmfocus.com/fairuse.php). This how-to uses Fairuse Wizard LE and TCPMP both which are free. I have converted many movies and have been pleased with the results on my lifedrive.
