Can anybody please point me to any documentation for Pelaca's apps -
namely; CF Utility, Audio Player, AlbumSwap, ClieCamera, Movie player, MMUtillib, and WinDrivers?
..oh.. and what's a good app (freeware if poss.) for viewing PDB files?
Thanks.

FWIW: most you mention aren't "Pelaca's" apps, they come from a number of place (many are hacked versions of Sony utils)
> CF Utility, Audio Player and ClieCamera, Movie player
These are standard CLIE programs. The main documentation for them came with your PDA. The specifics for the hacked versions specific for use with hacked "CF" drivers is described in the top sticky "NEWBIES READ THIS" post.
[in general if you have installed the CF driver properly, you can use the apps just like the regular apps]
> AlbumSwap
http://www.aibohack.com/clie/albumswap.htm
For the others, there is no specific documentation other than necessary installation tricks to get the programs to run (ie. part of the installation instructions)

What kind of PDB files ? (there isn't a lot of general structure/information in PDB files since each app is responsible for reading/writing the database records). There is much more structure for PRC files (PRCExplorer or RscEdit recommended)

Sorry. I was advised to get them here: http://home.nc.rr.com/dieterich/files/
and assumed they were originals.

I have read that post a few times - there's nothing much there except instructions for a specific method of installation, which if I follow (specifically installing the hacked version of Storage Driver) breaks Movie Recorder and it cannot be fixed without a hard reset. The other storage driver in the CF Utils package does not break Movie Recorder.

It's just a postcode pdb for Australia.

I used to use MobleDB. I'll give it another go, but it has previously crashed my NX.
Thanks for the tips.

FWIW: That's why I hate when people mirror things willy-nilly. The original instructions, authors and general advice get lost.
[ie. for my AlbumSwap tool, see my webpage, it is all covered there]
IMHO: The simple advice is to use only the hacked "CF" driver, and the original CLIE apps. Everything works except the Voice recorder and Movie Recorder (without reset)
There are other alternative combinations with different tradeoffs (which makes this topics more complex than it should be - hence the long discussion thread)
