why not just turn off the option to load images in the built in browser?? Or is this not what you are after??

That seems like a pretty good idea to me. Would that not work?

i'm actually looking for a web browser that will display the full content of web pages, minus the images. i do not want it to have the ability to display images. Eudora is nice, but it doesn't seem to display the full content.... sometimes i'll go to a page that has a menu running down the left and that is all that Eudora will load.

something like what webpro does with leaving an image place holder would even be nice, but not needed.... but i'd really want to not even have the ability to see images if i choose to turn them on....

any suggestions?

You can try using lynx or something like that through ssh, but you'll need a linux box to give you ssh access.
