Question

I have a NR70V. I want to upgrade (and for lack of a better way of saying it), to the top of the line Clie model.

I know this has been asked a thousand times, and sorry for 1 more -

Think I should by the NZ90 now, or wait another month (or how long do you think I should wait) to see what else comes out?

What "deluxe" clie? Has this been rumored already? Is the latest rumor that the next Clie will be a NX version?

C'mon Bo... don't give a vauge answer like that and tease us... :) Personally you saying the 'deluxe Clie' is the first I've ever heard those words.

i dont think anything has been announced yet, but you know how sony works. 3 days after you buy the latest and the greatest they come out with something new...

Nooo, I was KIDDING... just simply based on Sony's PAST performance, I imagined off the top of my head that there will be another Clie sometime this summer to late summer/fall

I KNOW NOTHING...! Ask some of the guys who seems to live under the roof ceilings of the Sony Clie development lap.

:) I feel the same way Bo.... and that's why I'm so glad I'm on the CompUSA replacement plan thingie. All I have to do is go in and trade up. :)

Now what I *need* is a 1Gb memory stick. :)

Yeah.... That CompUSA plan thing... I HAVE to go and ask about that, because if they tell me I can take the NZ in for a upgrade, and use the plan as a scheduled upgrade/replacement plan.... I am all over it... that would be sooo cooool.

I haven't heard of any changes to the CLIE line .... if they are gonna change it... they are keeping it hidden well. I think Sony would be smart to just wait for 9-12months... see how this one sells across the world.. and then beef it up come next year.

With the war going on ... and the economy, at least here in the states, doin not-so-hot .... they might be wise to wait before coming out with too many new CLIEs over the next 12months.

I'd love more info on the Comp USA upgrade plan. Is it also an extended warranty, maintainance and replacement plan. I recently bought my NZ90 from Circuit City. I'll take it back if it's worth the trouble. I'm wondering would you just pay the difference to upgrade. Would it be the difference of the original retail value or the current 'Blue Book' type value.

X Gear - I've posted several times in different threads on how CompUSA worked for me (no sarcasm here... just saying). I suggest just doing a search in the NZ forum with the keyword 'CompUSA' and using my handle 'cjones' and you'll get exactly what you're looking for.

I just tried this and it worked like a charm. :)
