Just "invested' in a TG50 so I could use Bluetooth with my Nokia 3650. When I first fired up the TG50 and tried to use SMS I was told there was no phone driver. Downloaded something from the USA (I live in Thailand) which provided a generic GSM phone driver; but none of many programs I have tried (Clie supplied software plus Blazer and Fun SMS) will communicate with the phone.
I can transfer individual phone records (as an example) so the bluetooth is working to an extent; but not with the main software programs. Both items are acknowledging each other, but when I try and connect it tells me the phone has disconnected and starts searching again.
I am wondering it the generic phone init code is not suitable for the 3650; but cannot find a 3650 driver anywhere.

Very very grateful for any wise guidance that anyone can supply.
Thanks
Hugh:confused:

Do have the right connection string entered?  You might want to check out howardforums.com for the correct settings.  I had the same issues with my Seimens S55 and eventually I found the correct connection string for t-mobile over at howardforums and now I can connect.

Thanks for your suggestion. Stilll could not find a string for the 3650 so in the end took out the string completely......and it worked!!

Hughden, I'm going to try and do the same thing. Did you use the Generic GSM phone driver? I copied the connect string from the 6310i phone that worked before and I can send SMS through the TG, but my inbound message dead-end at the phone. I'll give it a shot now. I'll also bounce over to the howardforums.com site to see if there have been any other updates.
