hello, I will be buying a T5 shortly and want to buy a 1Gig SD card mostly to put video files on for playback. Does it matter the transfer speed (10x, 20x, 42X....) or is there a min. speed I should avoid?
Thank you,
David

I had the same qury and I've recently got myself a T5. I have found this less of an issue, Using TCMP and playing video back on a old normal speed 256mb and comparing the same clip to a high speed 1gb doen't create any noticable difference to me.
By the way, if you planning to maybe ecode mvoies to a smallr file size, for puer simplic8ity use http://unlogic.no-ip.biz/umc/ ...........plus its free ! I've got 2 x 1gb and have some futurama eps for those long boring journeys to work!

I have a 512mb Kingston SD card. Its averages to 2x speed. Its perfectly fine for watching movies such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The only issues I have with it is that is takes forever to place large files and music on it. Tried it on my Zire 71 and its terrible as a camera card.
