I haven't seen anyone else mention this, but a reminder. If you care about any of the bundled software that came with your LD, you may want to jot down the registration codes (usually found in the About box) somewhere safe.

I was glad to have my Pocket Tunes deluxe code written down when I installed PT3.1.1 directly over 3.0.9. For some reason, the upgrade lost my reg. code.

Thanks for the tip, I was just about to hit the Sync button to load up the latest PTunes as well. Hadn't thought about it not auto reg'ing - like it is supposed to but could hick-up. Then where would you be? <g>

I hope this new 3.1 version fixes the delays from time to time. I know the software author has been doing their best to work around issues they are finding with the OS.

To continue your basic recommendation: Besides recording the registration code, also record the email address one used when one made the registration. This information can be handing when one goes back to the author at a later time trying to get a new registration code at an upgrade price.

Sad note on the PocketTunes upgrade to 3.1.1 - it doesn't like the reg code I had from the factory install included software. I have an email into pocket-tunes and will let you know what comes of it.

I can tell you what tey will say. They included 'extra features' in 3.1 so you will have to pay for the upgrade.....so, they are going the iambic route - pay for bug fix versions...it sucks!

Ha!Ha! I emailed them a couple of days ago and that was exactly what they told me.

Why not just do a secure reset? The PTunes will be reinstalled again (at least that's what happened when Ive reset mine).

Ooops, I just remembered that I bought the LD Mobile Entertainment CD, which is how I got a PT deluxe reg code. Never mind.
