Hi guys. I'm going to be taking a standardized exam soon (the dreaded LSAT) and I need an alarm (preferably graphical) that has the option to quickly select time increments but have a vibration alarm, not a "sound" alarm. The proctors will confiscate any device that makes a sound, so although I like 1TouchTimer (freewarepalm.com), it doesn't have the option to only have a vibration alarm. Also, I don't need to select a specific time (1:30pm etc.) but I do want to be able to select 30 minute or 35 minute increments- sort of like a countdown timer.

I don't even know if PDA's are allowed as personal alarms in the testing center, but I sure don't want them to confiscate my Clie! I couldn't bear that.

So, if anyone has any app that can fulfill my requirements, please oh please let me know!

I sincerely doubt they will allow a Clie.

I wouldn't risk taking your Clie in with you. Too many people would probably consider that a cheating tool, and you don't want it confiscated! But what do I know. When I took my SATs, they didn't allow calculators-that would be cheating.

when I went the were first starting to allow calculators... but the first programmable calculators were out so there was at least one person knowledgeable and anything that person didn't recognize as "legal" was out of the question.

We were even warned to be careful what type of watch we had. (It couldn't have a built in calculator or anything like that)
