View Full Version : mpeg for 665c?
Hi,
I just got my 665c few days ago from The Wiz for $239 (all stores are closing.) I love is since!
Now, does 665c play mpeg? I use Avantgo and the fonts are not very fine looking. Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks

Yes you can play mpeg files on your T665.
Regarding avantgo, try to increase the limit
of your Channels to say 300kb each. or maybe
even more. That's what I did and I get a better
font quality. Good luck :)

No, but it comes with gmovie for palm, and Picture Gear 4.4 Lite for PC, for converting video to gmovie format.
However, if you want higher quality video, then you can try Kinoma Player for Palms including Sony OS4.1 SonyHiRes (yours)and SonyHiRes+ (for NR70v) (this is freeware), and if you want to create your own audiovideo, )rather than just downloading music videos and other audiovideo) you can download the desktop studio (Shareware) for PC or Macintosh to Create and edit movies.
Remove your Gmovie player, as Kinoma Player plays all gmovie format movies too. even if you end up with something different, if you leave Kinoma Player on your Sony, it will still play your gmovie format pruduced by Picture Gear Lite.

Also, if you have Hi-Res assist enabled make sure that Avantgo isnt checked. I ran into the same problem with avantgo, in low res it looks like you are reading stuff on a Palm M-Series, who could do that anyway? --- In regard to removing G-movie, isnt the only way you can do that via jack sprat/ jack flash??? I am interested in that one.
