Hi everyone,
I recently acquired an SL-10 for myself. Being a user of Palm III for several years, I found that this CLIE entry model is actually a heavenly-sent upgrade.
I would like to apply the screen protector to it, as I used to do on my Palm III. However, I realized that there's already a layer of plastic film over the hard screen glass. The reflection on the film will deform when the stylus crosses it, indicating the film is somewhat suspended over the glass. My friend told me that this film is actually part of the digitizer device, not a protection film from the vendor.
For a comparison, my old Palm III screen has no such film. It is a hard surface glass.
Is my friend wrong about the film or I lived in the old Palm world too long? (kind of hoping he is wrong, because I've being scratching over the film for several days now.) ......
Thanks.
