Hey! I'm kinda new to the place I was wondering where you got your applications and games and stuff. I've already tried Palmgear, and I've gone to lots of search engines. I don't know where else to look. jdog

What do you mean you have already tried PalmGear? Palmgear has the largest collection of software for Palm OS so you don't really need to look anywhere else.

Are you looking for something in particular? RPG, Board Games, Sims?

Well, I have an S320 and I'm not saying Palmgear doesn't have alot of apps, because they do. But everytime I try install an app, either I can't install it because I figure out how to install programs to a MS or because I installed it wrong or something...

1. When you download a .zip file, save it somewhere you can find it (like onto your desktop...) If you're not familiar with .zip files, see THIS (http://www.winzip.com/info.htm?wzt) . It is a form of 'compression' that makes files easier to download.
2. Double click on the .zip file. It will open a window showing you the contents, or ask you if you want to extract (depends on your set-up). You DO want to extract (to your desktop). You will see white boxes on your screen with a palm and a little red arrow in it. DOUBLE CLICK ON THAT.
3. Double clicking on the white box with the palm/red arrow symbol should AUTOMAGICALLY bring up your Palm installer. (It may ask you to chose a hotsync name first...pick yours.) To install to card, click on the "Install to card" button.
4. Click 'done', when you're done. HOTSYNC.
5. And if all else fails, READ THE MANUAL. ;)

jdog~ Please don't hesitate to ask questions, as we have ALL been new to the Clie at some point or another.
I will take this opportunity to point out that there are a LOT of excellent and informative threads in the various forums. If you have 'free time', you'd probably 'gather' a lot of info reading them.
If you're looking for SPECIFIC info, you could try doing a search. It works VERY well, and you'll probably get 5--6 hours worth of reading, depending on what you search for.
GOOD LUCK, and above all...HAVE FUN!
