Hi,

It seems that the 200Mb video I converted through Image Converter 1.5 opens but then freezes my NX70v at the beginning of play (the title appears but doesn't play).
The CF card is good and works with great with many MPG files I add.
I can say I converted in standard format: 320x240, 216bits video, 64bits audio and got a file of 200Mb.
I also notice that mqv files created by the clie have 160x112, 192bits video, 32bits audio.

Do you think the reason for freezing has to do with size, bit rates? How can I change it in IC1.5? Putting it to Long Play option? Or should I use IC1.0 to be sure?

Thanks for the enlightment,

Rui

Sorry, I have no direct experience with programs you described.

But I think, there is no reason no to use PocketDivx encoder for encoding and TCMP for playing movies. Both ofthem are free and the results are great.

You have to use IC 1.0 or 1.5 for using the built in player. The file you converted to doesnt appear to be too bad, I dont see why it cant play. Make sure you have all of the updates for your Clie installed.

there is a file called movieplayersystemupdate101.prc
you have to install it to watch movies created using IC 1.5

JFB,

Didn't know that. Where can I find such file? Is it large?
My version is presently 1.1 (CF). Do you think if I use Full Movie Player from Cliepet it will work? Or should I go back to IC1.1 instead?
My last conversion was: 160x112, V:96, A:32, so it's pretty much like what the clie produces and it doesn't play. Maybe it's something to do with the IC1.5 and the file you mention.

Thanks,

RuiD

Well, I did a search and did find that file. However after Hotsync and Reset it doesn't seem to update any Avx... file to v1.1 or MMLibinfo to 1.22 as said in the official sony support site. I'm using an European NX70v and maybe this file is for US version only?
Nevertheless the Lib file goes to RAM.. videos don't play either.
So should I use IC1.1 or go to another application like TCMPC?

Thanks for the support,
