There's an app listed on PalmGear called 9.95 Clock 2.83.
Credit is given to the author of BigClock but this version seems ok on OS5. He wants almost ten bucks for this but won't give a demo. He says that "Given the price of the application we decided not to provide a trial".
It doesn't even use the built in alarms so you're stuck with the ones he provides. Whats up with that???

There is a thread in one of the forums discussing software from this developer. It seems some of the software is rebranded freeware. I haven't personally used anything from this developer as most of it looks like crap but let me see if i can pull up that link for you

no-one is forcing anyone The problem is that people that don't know better WILL buy it, and the money goes to the rebrander and not the person who actually did the work. It's not the fact that these apps cost money; it's that the money is going to the wrong person. So as many people as possible should be made aware of this.

Are there any comments allowed for this app at PalmGear? Maybe somebody should, um, mention it there?
Why does PalmGear allow this?

The reason is simple Big Clock is freeware. PG makes no money from freeware.

Far from the truth Unregistered. We had to make sure that this was indeed a violation of the GNU license before we could remove these items. I recently found some info that would indicate a violation and have removed the products accordingly.

Thank you for removing them. Theft of intellectual property should never be condoned, facilitated, or supported. Such widespread abuse would kill the Open Source movement.
