Is there any way to backup Flash Memory?

Just curious. I use BB VFS and it works great to restore my system, but I have several programs in Flash. I have thought of moving them to main, then hotsyncing and saving them on my PC, but this seems like a pain. Any thoughts?

The full version of Backup Buddy supports backing up flash rom but I don't know how well it works.

I am using backup buddy ver 1.51 and it backs up the flash rom for my NR. Work like a charm.

I am using BB VFS 1.51 and never found where/how could backup ROM:mad:

open BB windows and check the "Backup up data and application in rom" then hotsync and u r done.

I just tried a backup, and my flash programs were not included on the memory card save. Any ideas?

Never mind, I get it now. I used the desktop application and got a full backup of the flash and machine. Works great!!!!

I just have the BBVFS 202, not the full version of BB. I think it has not that option or has it?

You need to use the desktop version to backup. The program on the palm that backs up to the memory stick does not back up flash.

Well, the more I think about this, I won't worry too much about the flash memory since all of the files are apps that I have backup in PC and a hard reset would not delete them anyway. Also I use JackSprat to backup the original ROM apps to MS and to PC via HotSync.

Just curious, what is the reason you want to backup the flash memory?
