System Lockout Fogotten Password

tried hard rest option but didn't work, system lockout screen still appears.

which promts for correct password....

would anybody please help to login

Really? Depends on the model, I guess -- I thought hard reset would remove the password (as well as the contents of the RAM)

I think the only other way of getting rid of the password is yanking the battery and making sure the unit is drained of power. Then you should be able to use it again. Granted - the password will be gone, and so will everything in RAM.

I don't really know of any non-destructive way or removign the password ...

thx for your suggestion.....I removed the internal battery and let it die for minutes.....then it worked..
