that extra cable with your NZ....

Ok.. there's that one cable that seems useless that came with the NZ. Not the power cable that plugs into the cradle, not the hotsync cable that plugs into the cradle, and not the AV cable that plugs into the cradle.

I'm talking the one called 'printer cable' in the green documentation manual. On page 17 of the manual it says you can also connect to the USB cable connector on the cradle (where the hotsync cable normally goes) this 'printer cable'.

Reading from the manual -> 'You can also connect the supplied printer cable to print out the contents of the "CLIE Album" screen or "CLIE Viewer" screen with your printer.

Has anybody messed with this? It sure seems like a "feature" that will be rarely used by anybody.

Just curious what my fellow NZ'ers thought.

Oh... also one question on the 'AV cable' .... does anybody know of any kind of adapter that could exist to make use of this cable w/o having to put the NZ in the cradle?

Having to use the cradle useless for me since my cradle (and the wife's cradle) is always sitting at work. I've got the same hotsyny cable and power charger cable to do those things at home (the ones I had for my NR works on the NZ).

So it seems like unless I brought my cradle home this AV cable to a TV thingie will never be used by me.

Anybody in the same boat?
