HELP, can't HOTSYNC

Suddenly my HOTSYNC operattion is interrupted because it says "SOME OF YOUR DATA WAS NOT BACKED UP" I've tried re-installing the whole thing, even errasing everything before and the same thing keeps happening, what am I doing wrong? has this happened to any of you before? PLEASE HELP

I own a PG-NR70V/U if this helps in anyway.

I received the same type of message when my PC lost it's connection to my NR70 during the hotsync.  I booted the PC and reset the Clie and everything worked fine afterwards.  Just booting the PC did not work.  I assume the two devices thought some other program was using the USB port.
