My dad's got a Th55 and I'd like him to have some easy way to toggle Wifi On/off. My T3 an my LD is much more userfriendly in that view.

I found this nifty little app called HotSwitch that toggles Wi-Fi -- I have it assigned to the Calc silk-button-thing and it's quite nice.

You can find it here : http://www.1src.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-44765.html

There's a DA named NetSwitchDA (http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/netswitchda.shtml), that at least toggles Wifi.

One sony noob question. How do I assign it to the calc icon on the DIA? On palmone PDAs I just need to hold the icon for a sec or two and I get a pop up whit a list of apps I can choose. How do I do that on the TH55?

You can do it with ZLauncher. I know it's an extra layer of app, but it works for me...

Just go to preferences>buttons there you can set the program that launches when you click the calc silk. :)

Thanks for the link, but the file has been moved. Here's the new direct download URL: http://homepage3.nifty.com/Khiguchi/FreeSoft/HotSwitch/HotSwitch11.zip

And the site for it if you want to read some Engrish: http://homepage3.nifty.com/Khiguchi/FreeSoft/HotSwitch/index_enUS.htm

Small aside; The NetMon silk-plugin also lets you toggle WiFi on many Clies, and also has nifty network stats like IP addr, packets sent/received etc.

You'll have to search for the file in here 'tho (Might be in the Files area too...)
