Nexave has released a great review of the Group Sense PDA Xplore M68: "The S200 is a mature, successful equipment. Many prospective customers will be happy with this small Palm OS device with great features (OS5, camera, Bluetooth). It is a handy Smartphone with a great set of applications with good speed. There are no major flaws considering its size. The price of the S200 is right." [details (http://www.1src.com/?m=show&id=1143)]

I ran the article thru the altavista translation and it seems a nice phone. not a feature phone, but a lot like what we have heard palm source talking about when they speak of normal phones that run the PalmOS. If this were to come to the US, with a less than $200 price point before contract, this would easily out sell the Treo as it would/could be looked at as a competitor to the BB 7100 devices.

This phone has a 160 x 200 resolution. How do most existing progrmas run on this? Does it basically mean the screen is 160x160?

Just wanted to know.

VERY interesting phone and a great size, I would pay $200 if it came out tomorrow for Cingular!

The price is 499 EUR. I expect about 499 $ (without service plan activation) in the US. The Screen size is 160 x 220 ( 160 x 160 plus virtual Graffiti)

na, sticking with my treo 650. I like my treo cause i could see the LCD just fine in the sun light outdoors. But i hate its camera, alot! wish it was 1.3 and not VGA.

Hmmm, I really love my Treo -- However, this is a very nice phone. If they could control the cost, I believe as well that this little guy will sell like hotcakes in the us market. People often look at my Treo 650, and say that they want one, but cannot afford it.

It might be nice in terms of features...

Go see your ophthalmologist before buying: the screen is tiny, even mice would need glasses...
I had it in my hands and its a joke...
Stick to your Treos!

cheers Nicolas

It isn't supposed to replace the Treo, it is supposed to get normal cell phone users to go to Palm OS.

Are we sure they have graffiti? I can't find it mentioned anywhere in the spec.

By the way, expansys is claiming they can ship them in 7 days for L245 (british pounds).
