I'm feeling like a dope, but here goes:

Everything says "ZLauncher supports icon sets" Erm, where do I find these icon sets? And do they apply to the built-in apps, or to any other app? How do I change the icon for an app? (For instance, that charming "BETA" icon for Avantgo!)

The icon sets change only the built-in apps (and a few others, I think). Two sets come with zLauncher: an OS5 version (which allows OS4 users to have the OS5 icons for the built-in apps -- make sure you turn high density on) and an "XP" looking one. There is also a Mac OSX one which I believe is posted here. For now, I don't think you can change the icons on other apps.

Thanks squeff! I feel MUCH less crazy!

With AppIcon you can change your other programs to have hi-density icons. You just have to import the zlauncher icon sets there.

The icon sets also provide icons for internal system icons in the file manager and other places. Full-featured skins like CopperDeckII provide a full set of icons for all these parts of ZL.

Hey, thanks guys!

I looked at AppIcon... one of these days I may give it a whirl. I'll take a look at CopperDeck today!

Hope this helps.

Do these work in ZL? I tried one and it did not show, but would really like to use them if possible.

I have an even more basic question: where does one find AppIcon? I have looked on Palmgear and Handango and can't locate it. Am I missing something?

Whenever I click on the edit icon button in AppIcon, the system freezes and I must do a reset. Any help?

It does fine until you go to *Edit Icon*.

It doesn't work for me either.

I hit the same wall with only one app (Docs to Go - which just seems determined to annoy the %^&* out of me these days.) Everything else changed fine. Hmph.
