Is there a sound patch I dont know about for the T3?

I have just got a T3 with Pocket Tunes and I think it works great overall but my only issue is the sound quality with using a headset the sound is ok at a half point but when you get higher on the volume it sound a bit distorted especially the bass but when I use the home stereo it sound great because its useing the power of a stereo and big speakers. Before you say I expect to much from a PDA or I should of got a iPod! well I have had Pda's in the past for work with good sound like the PEG-T415 CLIÉ, PEG-T665C, PEG-NX60, and sony is good but not what I wanted same with my first Handspring Visor Deluxe with the MiniJam it was great for its time and time has changed so much! And its not only the T3 but also with the T/T and Zire71 that I also came across. I dont know if its a Palm thing or what? So that is why Im asking if anyone can give me an answer to my question thanks? and for the record it has all the updates:)

With real player it sounds the same and that Zodiac Is a great Player I have a Zodiac2 as a multimedia player and for games and with palm os its the best!! I well never sell that one but for work its to big!

yep! I love my Zodiac 2! :) This may be the first device that I will not sell. And the audio player in the zodiac is very nice. So nice I would of had to pay extra for this from palmone! Do you post on tapland?

No I havent posted on tapland but I do pop in occasionally to see whats going on most of the time I go to zodiacgamer to see what coming out! And I use really good Sony head phones and and they sound better with the Zodiac by the way do you have a Palm since you go by the name tungsten t5 and if so how is the sound quality with that one with headphones?

i did have a tungsten t5. the sound is much Louder than the T3. I also have a dell axim x50v. and that has the same audio chhip as the ipod, so you might want to check that out.

Try using Aeroplayer (http://www.aerodrome.us) and see if it sounds any better. I know when I had both (Pocket Tunes and Aeroplayer) on my T3, Aeroplayer sounded better at louder volumes and if I used the equalizer/bass boost.

Edit: I also saw a blurb on the pocket tunes site about patching Palm devices (and the T3 was listed). I don't recall seeing a patch for audio on the T3, though.

I also have iPAQ2215 but to me PPC is not all that great it has great features and sound But I feel that Palm os is a better for me that is my opinion though :rolleyes:
I guess if my Zodiac had a slider and could fit in my pocket better I would take it with me to work as well :) oh well!!

thanks for the advise applejosh maybe ther is hope for my T3 I'll email pocket tunes and see what they say and if thats a no go I'll try Aeroplayer :D
