I just purchased a T5 and it replaced a TG50 Clie that got destroyed. One thing that I liked about the Clie is that I could use wav and MP3 for alarm sounds. I have downloaded techsounds onto my T5 and I am able to use them for alarms with my datebook5. Does anyone know if I can use the MP3 that I have downloaded for my Realplayer as alarms? Sure would be nice to have that feature back, if at all possible. I also download Ptunes and it sure beats Realplayer hands down.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Thanks,
Frank K
(really liking the T5!)

There was a program that does this. I can't remember what it was called. Try serching palmgear.com

search palmgear for "2PlayMe" its a shareware, but it doesnt expire. All it is, is that it has ads when you launch it. Its no biggie, you just click the screen and the ads gone. No point in buying the real thing, unless 1 second ads really annoy u.

There's also Palmary Clock (http://www.palmarysoft.com/products/clock/). Haven't used it, but I think I remember hearing good things about it.

It's very nice, i love the VGA, Wi-fi,microphone, and 624mhz proccessor. But the buttons are very small and hard to use. Thats why I bought a zod.

Palmary clock is quite nice indeed. However, to use MP3s (or ogg/wma/wav files) for alarms you need Pocket tunes (which I use) or Aeroplayer. AFAIK it does not work with Realplayer.

Cool, i might get a x50 one day. But i prefer my treo650 though. Its kinda strange that your name is Tungsten T5, when you dont even have a tungsten T5 anymore. People that dont know u will think you have a T5 and think ewww. lol
