thanks for the help! all the threads i've read seem to be related to home high speed internet access, rather than landline dial up.

i connect to my pc modem thru a bluetooth connection(created in prefs), i created the new connection then linked it to blazer :-)
connections - new
name - whatever..
connect to - modem
via - bluetooth
device - tap tp find (my pc name vomes up)
dialing - touch tone
volume - low
click details then
speed - 57,000
flow ctl - auto
and leave the rest blank
then ok.
and move to network in prefs
name your network
enter user name and password if you use them
connection - (your new bluetooth connection you just created)
phone - your isp phone number
then in details i have
connection type - PPP
idle time out - never
query DNS is checked
ip address auto is checked
and the script box should be empty
you should then be able to select this as the defult profile in your browser software
hope this works for the NZ too i am running iton my NX70v

You GOTTA put together a Photoalbum for us with Cairo pictures. maybe some cooool MPEG movies - this is the kind of things your NX is made for.... (smile)

My solution is a USR modem connected to a D-Link 713P wireless router. With the WiFi card, my NZ will dial the connection automatically. Very handy during those rushed mornings, as my workstation requires 3.5 minutes to boot due to the SCSI RAID card. Wireless with the NZ is a boon for a quick email check.
