I left my ux50 apart for a while and moved to an ipaq rx3715. Feeling not so satisfied with the device I decided to give another shot to the old ux50.

But the thing is my battery is running out very fast, so I need a battery extender.
I recently found a battery from an old NR70v that I had some time ago, anda apparently is in good condition. I was wondering if its posible to install this battery inside the ux50's cradle to recharge the ux50's internal battery.

I know you guys here are very creative, and maybe someone did something similar to this and could be nice enough to give me some advice or suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

NR70 battery (#503759)may not fit the UX50 internal space. Try to get a smaller one. UX50 is #5530.

You can first try to open UX50 back cover carefully using. Be sure not to break speaker connection wire. You may find the battery room is very regular and easy to remove the battery. You may also try to use Mobile Phone battery too. I have once used NOKIA 7210 to find it is too long.

As I understand it Neokorb wanted to install the battery in the charging cradle, not the ux50
