ok.. i feel like a dog with a bone.. i am obsessed about making sure i get my money's worth from this BT MS (£144!!!)
so tell me what services do you all get from your stick?
here is a list of things i am currently able to do.using the following combination
NX70v (Bluetooth MS)
T68i
bluetooth hotsync
dial up using my pc and access the net via Blazer
collect and send mail using cliemail (cool)
dial up thru my T68i using GSM (very slow tho) and collect mail
things i am unable to do
use blazer thru my T68i
send or receive pics using my pc?
use fun SMS or GSM tool :-(
send or receive pics with my T68i (i think this is more of a software prob tho i am hoping Acid Image sorts it out soon)
so how do you use yours?

Bassicly you can use ANY bluetooth service that your PC/phone provide.
I can send faxes via my BT enabled laptop, Print directly to BT enabled printer, exchange information (inc. files, pics etc.) with my laptop.
I CAN'T use the MSBT as an audio reciver device (although my laptop provide this service), or maybe I can, but didn't figure it out... yet...

2. Fax
3. File transfer
4. Information exchange
5. Dial-Up networking
6. Network access
7. Bluetooth serial port (about 10 of them...)
My bluetooth Laptop (using TDK CDC bluetooth) have the fallowing services:
1. All the above
2. Audio reciver (BT mic)
3. Audio send (BT earphone/speaker)
My bluetooth Cli'e (using MS bluetooth) have the fallowing services:
1. Serial port
2. BTServer (using BTServer utility)

Ok... Let's see ....
- Dial the T68 from the address book
- Sync the clie
- Go online with the clie (using Blazer or Net Front)
- Sync Avantgo
- Sync Vindigo (or change cities)
- Print
- Send faxes
- Send photos from the clie to the PC
There must be some more but I can't think of them now....

Can you tell me what BTServer really does, or how can it be used productively? I read the web page but still am not too sure.
Thanks.

BTserver is use for serial connection from PC to Cli'e (that is usefull if you want to access your Cli'e from your PC (usually you access your PC using Cli'e).

That means I can invoke program execution inside Clie from my PC?
Would that be any real use of this 'reverse' connectivity?

It mean that your clie will act as a file server, and allow the PC to pull files from the clie (not that usefull, cause al my clie files are on the PC anyway, when I sync).

i have not been able to send gifs from my clie but i can from the pc.. i think first off you need a program that supports gif (acidimage?) but i am not sure they have the bluetooth send facility built in yet? anyone know any different? i know that you have to purchase Acid Image before it will support gif's
