Hello!

I would like to purcahse a PDA that can support GPS and placed it in my car.

PDA: Can be an old model

OS: Not sure Palm or Windows but I like tomtom software which provides a 3D view.

Bluetooth: I heard that GPS device might lose connection with the PDA, perhaps a wired on is better? Also, Bluetooth GPS has to be charged in trder to use?

Any suggestion is welcome :)

If your main use for it is navigation, why not get the iQue 3600? It doesn't have 3D navigation but for me, it's still the best nav app.

Although it's mainly for car navigation, but I like to use it as my address book as well.

Get either a Tungsten T or T2, the screens are great outdoors.
As for a gps, you can check ebay for the Magellen gps companion which is a sled that the tungsten will clip to and you can get a car adapter for it so it will charge the palm at the same time. I also have a Holux GR-231 bluetooth gps which works great via bluetooth. It has never disconnected on me yet.

I've been looking into GPS as well, so I'm gonna keep my eye on this thread for any good suggestions.
