View Full Version : Free Facer Pro Themes

I have created a new theme for Facer Pro called Nuvola. This one is free and is fully skinned like my Facer Pro iPalm theme (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84856). No, I have not migrated to Facer. I have tried a couple of times but have not stayed with it. I mainly created the Facer theme to try it and see if there was any demand for Facer themes out there. Judging from the lack of responses, and more importantly the number of downloads, it looks like there is very little interest.

I have upgraded the Facer Nuvola theme to work with Facer 3. It is a complete skin. I believe all theme elements have been skinned. Find out more here (http://lesliefranke.com/2006/05/31/facer-launcher-nuvola-theme/).

Wow, facer 3! I was a registered user up until v2 came out! Your themes always look so good! By the way, does facer support icon sets yet? I think that is what drew me over to Zlauncher. (That, and my T3 already had an Agenda view unlike my m515...)

look nice but unfortunetly i dont really like the launcher i regain apreciation for the palm launcher after installing T5 files in my T3

P/S : the skin doesn't appear , i'm using facer 3.0.1 with Orange Treo colour . something wrong ? :(

Facer 3 does not support application icon sets. They took the tab view off of the launcher page, for version 3, so you do not have icons there either.

I still primarily use ZLauncher. The one reason to use Facer is that its Today page is probably the best for any of the launchers.

Try upgrading to Facer 3.1.1. I am running the theme just fine on my T3. I believe they made some changes somewhere in that timeframe that effects the skins. To install the skin I then choose 'Themes' from the 'Options' menu. From here you can choose the theme, wallpaper, color etc.

Darn it......Let me get this straight (im a little slow) you cant use an app like IconPlus or AppIcon with Facer ? :confused: Or you cant make Iconsets for Facer???

You can just not make Facer specific icon sets. IconPlus and AppIcon should work.

No problem. I used PFCD (http://festus440.happypalm.com/pfcd.php) to compile the skin from a .rcp file I created. If you want more detailed instructions I can post them for you.

Were you able to get the Facer theme to work.

Would you mind to share the *.RCP , i used PFCD to extract images from your skin but it looks terrible :confused:

(A little off topic) I was reading the specs on the pocket craft's website, a they kept talking about low-memory....Is this really true.....They posted "Facer’s small size fits perfectly within your device’s memory. As memory is a precious real estate, you will find Facer a real steal that saves you from unnecessary memory wastages." <--- Bashing ZLauncher?? :confused:

ZLauncher is a really large program. Facer is roughly 60% of its size. It is a tradeoff in that ZLauncher is much more powerful than Facer.
