If you ever regretted not being able to almost switch off the screen when, eg. reading in the dark, here comes the solution. Brightness Fix now gives you this possibility. And it's free.

Wow, this utility is superb! FullPower doesn't work on my T5 for it crashes my T5 during Hotsync, somehow... But this BrightnessFix works! Thanks.

I have one bug to report though. The Palm's original screen brightness scroll bar is not behaving normally:

The left 1/4 of the system's scroll bar is bright. After the left 1/4, it suddenly dim to the BrightnessFix minimal setting, then becomes brighter along the way (this is normal).

Yes, I find it very useful as well.
I noticed this idiosyncracy. Well, we can live with it, can't we? And there's no need to find the app in the launcher, you just tap the clock and it does the same thing.
I wish Palm allowed for stylus-free regulation of brightness: Power-ling press, and left/righ on the d-pad.It worked on Zire 71, can't it work here?

This works great ... I am loving it for reading it at night in bed. I missed my old M100 reverse backlit green screen at night and this is even better to read by using TiBR for reading and setting the colors to green text on black background. Now that I can turn the brightness way down the white border that's always there and the icon bar don't bother me.

Thanks for the TIP! :)
