G1 for TE2?

I've seen posts for getting G1 working on the T5, but does anyone know how to get it working on the TE2, or info on how the T5 hacks were done? I would really like to get it working on the TE2, because I find G2 very difficult to use.

Just use the original G1 libraries from a G1 device. The T5 versions probably won't work on E2 because they were designed for the T5 and Treo650.
