View Full Version : Webpro Have You Tried It?

I bought a Tungsten W and I really like this web browser it came with. So I copied it to my NZ and it's terrific! Anyone else tried webpro and if so how does it compare to the one you use now?

Yes the webpro is better than xiino and pocketlink in NZ and NX. (personal opinion) some might prefer xiino or pocketlink. I think webpro is more stable than other. Which version you are using? I using Version 1.0 from TT.

Quick comparison please. What do WebPro do which NetFont do not and the other way around, speed, rendering of webpages, how do it handle large pages. (NetFont always complain about the size of this forum. Don't ask how I know)

Webpro do simple conversion show you the webpage as well as to show a simple pic only. No support on gif in webpro. Some website is better in webpro when need to read multi-column news and some is better in netfront when there is some graphic. But i still prefer to use Netfront.

The webpro actually can surf much faster than netfront if you choose normal graphic effect.

if you prefer to have a realistic view just like IE 6.028, choose netfront but slower due to the best graphic only.

How do I sign up CF driver?
Send an email to cfbeta at austin.rr.com. DO NOT EXPECT A RESPONSE IMMEDIATELY. We will select candidates for the beta program and notify them. We will try to notify the ones that were not selected, but that obviously depends how many responses we receive. You should expect to hear something back by April 2 at the latest. PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFO IN YOUR EMAIL: which CF cards you own, and which Clie model you own. We can't consider you for the beta program without this information.

I am sorry, in the past I think you misunderstood. WebPro and Picsel are not for sale and there is no other way to obtain them. I also misunderstood you too, I thought you were into the warez stuff, trying to circumvent paying for apps.

It's ok. At least now we can help each other by all means. So good luck to you to be chosen in the selection so that you can shared with us your experience too.

I hold back at the moment as i still got some doubt about it. Still pending for ayasin to reply. Anyway still got 1-2days to think about it.
