I have seen reference in several threads to the use of the Clie NR and NX series as a webcam. Can anyine explain how this is accomplished? ( I have never used a webcam before. )

Where did you see this? A web cam is just a video camera that is constantly streaming to the PC.

it would be cool to have streaming shots from my clie using the wifi

Yeah, wouldn't it! I don't know of anyone actually doing it though. I think it's possible with the right software.

There is a reference by someone claiming to use it as a webcam in the NR forum under a thread entitled "What do you use your Clie for?" That's what prompted my question yesterday, but I have seen reference to this previously in posts. Anyone been able to verify these claims?

Still no news about using the NX70V as a webcam (streaming video)?

EJ's Fullscreen Utilities of swooze.com claims/claimed that this would possible included in a future version, but interest has waned and I sort of doubt it will ever be incorporated.

Why do you believe interest has waned? Is it because it is not discussed as much?
