Pocket Express EX:Maps crashing

I just discovered Express and really like it- better than Avantgo e.g. But whenever I try to map an address or map a business, I get a message that says disconnecting and then a soft reboot, saying when it boots that EX:Maps caused a fatal error! I have downloaded latest version, upgrading me from 1.3 to 1.32
Their website is no help. I even tried disabling SharkCache and SkinUI and resbooting- same thing- ugh! Any thoughts- should I uninstall it completely and load the 1.32 may be? If so how do I delete an app?

@pwscott, annoying given that the Pocket Express web sites claims support for the LD! For news etc I find the Mobipocket Web Companion is very to use with lots of RSS feeds and is fully compatiable with the LD (also the Mobipocket Beta V5 has a look & feel that is standard POS).
