TG50 & MS Pro memory available???

I have the TG50 and a MS Pro 256. It only shows 237mb available. Is that to be expected? What sort of memory available sizes is everyone seeing with the 512mb and 1gb sticks. Maybe this is what the patch was supposed to address????

The reason that you see less memory than you thought that you paid for is:
1.The file system
2.Memory sizes are rounded up
The bigger the card the bigger the file system. I orderd the 1gb, I'll tell how much actual memory I have when I get it.

where are you guys getting the memory stick pro from? I looked on sonystyle.com and couldn't seem to find any.

I got mine from Fry's Electronics in Wilsonville Oregon, just south of Portland. I have found that any new Sony products hit the retails shelves a week or two before SonyStyle has them.

I kind of thought that was what it was, but I wasn't sure. I didn't remember seeing that much of decrease with the 128 sticks.
